Public Transportation in and Around Paris
In Paris, there are many ways to get around. By far the most popular and fastest means of transport is the Metro (subway). The public transportation network in and around Paris is very well developed and has numerous stops.
Paris public transport is divided into 5 fare zones (tariff rings). The city center and almost all major attractions are within zones 1 & 2. The Paris airports are located in the 4th and outermost 5th rings.
